DUSK – a free, family-friendly outdoor community event celebrating live music, art and culture –will do just that on the shores of Lake Kawana at council’s Venue 114 on Sunday, February 24 from 4pm to 8pm.

The impressive line-up of local artists including Malia Sterling, Flaskas and Band of Frequencies is sure to bring the crowds alive on the outdoor stage.

DUSK will also deliver roving entertainment by creative industry students from Kawana Waters State College, food trucks and the event will be fully licensed. There will also be projections on the back stage at sunset, adding to the idyllic atmosphere.

Grab your diary and book in the 2019 DUSK events scheduled for Sunday, June 16, August 25 and December 1.

Community Solutions Group Managing Director David Curd said his organisation was very proud to partner with Venue114 for DUSK – our own local food and music event.

“We encourage Kawana residents to head to the lake with their families and friends and enjoy the beautiful sunset and wonderful musicians, as the food trucks create an easy dinner,” he said.

“Sunday evenings are now sorted.”

Parking is free and public transport is available. In the event of wet weather, DUSK will be relocated to inside Venue 114. Dogs on-leash are welcome.
