Council has announced that Integrated Family and Youth Services Ltd (IFYS) will take on the management of the Coolum Civic Centre in 2016. This was originally anticipated to take place on 1 July 2016, however was delayed. As of Thursday 14th September 2017, the handover is now complete and IFYS have commenced their management of the Coolum Civic Centre. Centrally located in Coolum Beach in Park Street (located off David Low Way, next to Jack Morgan Park) and only a short stroll to Coolum Beach, this wheelchair friendly venue caters for up to 350 guests. Ideal for special events, this venue has a stage complete with a large backstage area, including change rooms, rear access and limited audio infrastructure.
In addition to the hall, there is a meeting room suitable for up to 20 people.
There is limited parking on-site for up to approximately 30 vehicles and 2 designated disabled parking spaces.
