National Youth Week 2017

In 2017, National Youth Week (NYW) will run from 31st March to 9th April. NYW is an annual, week-long celebration of young people (aged 12-25) throughout Australia.

Held in April each year, NYW is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements, vitality and strength of young people aged 12 to 25 and to acknowledge their contribution to every aspect of community life.

Council is proud to be partnering again with Integrated Family and Youth Services (IFYS) to deliver the NYW event, Blended.

Blended will be taking over Coolum's Tickle Park on Saturday, 8th April (2 pm - 9 pm). A free event, Blended will showcase our local young people with a full line up of music, arts and entertainment. Check out the IFYS Blended Facebook page for more information and how you can get involved.
