Residents who represent the Sunshine Coast Local Government Area at competitions or events may apply for Individual Development Grants. Representation must be at a national or international level. Individuals must be selected by a recognised national governing body or equivalent and provide a letter of selection.
Representation may be in the form of:
Funding is available in the following fields:
- arts and culture
Note: Applications for sporting events must be competing in:
- Official national or international championships or competitions, recognised by a National Sporting Organisation (NSO) that is endorsed by the Australian Sports Commission.
- A selected official Queensland or Australian team, endorsed by the relevant National Sporting Organisation (NSO).
Maximum funding amount

*Funding amounts are subject to budget and vary in line with distance travelled for the event. Maximum amount for International activities is $500 and maximum amounts for National activities is $350.
