Do you need help funding a conservation project?
If you are planning a conservation project on your land, now is the time to lodge an expression of interest in securing one of Sunshine Coast Council’s Landholder Environment Grants. The grants are available for projects that will protect and enhance our region’s natural assets and biodiversity. To be eligible for grant funding, projects must be completed on privately owned rural land within the Sunshine Coast Local Government Area. For more information, visit council’s website or contact a grants officer on 5420 8616 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
New bus network in motion for hospital opening
Additional routes, improved services and reduced fares are just some of the benefits to come as the Sunshine Coast gears up for the official opening of the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Caloundra will benefit from increased frequency as the existing route 607 (Caloundra to USC via Kawana and SCUH) will be upgraded to operate about every 30 minutes on weekdays and hourly on weekends. For details about the finalised network, how your journey will change and your new bus timetable, keep an eye on the TransLink website for more information.
