ANZAC centenary commemorative exhibition

Of Peace and War will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli. It is a sensitive display of stories and artworks that will be held at Caloundra Regional Gallery from March 25 to May 10. Watercolours and oils in the exhibition illustrate the WWI battlefields of Northern France, while artworks on loan from the Dalai Lama’s Art School in Dharamsala offer messages of peace. Ceramic works, artist books, poetry and oral histories capture the empathic nature of humanity. Visit Council’s gallery website for bookings, public programs and more information.

Out and about

I’ll be at the Marketplace (outside Target) in Beerwah on Friday, April 10 from 9 to 11am and look forward to catching up with locals to discuss what’s happening in the community.
