It is encouraging to hear many great things people are saying about the transformed Beerwah Town Centre, and it can only improve as the focus now moves to Turner Park. Construction of an entry plaza, custom "Beerwah" seating walls and picnic settings under shade trees is now underway. In the coming months, we will see this area become the strong park entry the community called for and this will complement the great work at Beerwah Tower Green.
Invest Sunshine Coast
I recently attended the launch of Invest Sunshine Coast where the region’s winning attributes were highlighted to attract national and international investment. I encourage everyone to view the new investment prospectus on Council’s website—in particular local importers, exporters and those looking to get into these markets are sure to benefit.
Take a look also at the Invest Sunshine Coast video for a confident overview of what our region has to offer.
Bells Reach Community Garden
After months of loving toil, the Bellvista and Bells Reach Community Association (BeCA) will don their wellies and gloves to officially open their new community garden from 8am on Saturday, May 30.
To learn more about this active community association and how you can get involved, visit their website at www.bellvista.com.au.
Out and about
I’ll be at Buck’s Bakery in Landsborough on Thursday, May 28 from 9 to 11am where I look forward to catching up with local residents to chat about what’s happening in our community.
