Council launches Development.i
An Australian-first tracking system developed by Sunshine Coast Council has been officially launched, giving the community easier and quicker access to development information.  Replacing PD Online, Development.i lets users navigate, visualise, track and be alerted to development applications in their street, suburb, division or across the region.  To find out more, a product overview and a series of “how-to” videos are available on the Development.i website. Visit www.developmenti.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au to try out the new platform and become empowered to be informed on what is happening in your community. And best of all, it’s as easy to use as a real estate search website.

Bellvista Blvd road works
Users of Bellvista Blvd will soon see council undertake preparation works on Bellvista Blvd between Bells Reach Drive and Indigo Road, weather permitting. After some community consultation, project officers have developed an improved traffic management plan, with a proposed detour in place between the hours of 9am and 2pm. I encourage the community to understand with patience that the detour may add extra time to your journey. Also, consideration and courtesy should be given as you travel through the detour in residential streets. In December, the rehabilitation works will commence, weather permitting, and in the end I think we all appreciate that this project is a good thing that will deliver to the community a better looking, smoother and safer road which will also last a lot longer. This commitment is achieved through Council’s Road Reseal and Rehabilitation Program.
