It was a pleasure and honour to be part of the Kawana Waters Rotary Club’s Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony. Congratulations to the 58 individuals who became citizens and can now call themselves an “Aussie”. You could not have chosen a better place to become a citizen.
Sunshine Coast turns 50
Celebrations for the 50th Anniversary of the Naming of the Sunshine Coast are underway with the officially commemoration on August 1 this year. To help celebrate this historic occasion, council has planned celebrations throughout 2017. Visit council’s website to view the calendar of events and activities. We also invite you to share your ‘Fond Memories’ of the Sunshine Coast. You can submit your favourite memories and photos to firstname.lastname@example.org.
