Have your say on Alex Skate Park upgrade
Two draft options for an upgrade to the popular Alexandra Headland skate park are now available for public comment. I invite you to work with us on the concepts by attending one of two workshops on Saturday August 6 or by completing an online survey from August 8-19.
Emerald Woods pathway renewal
Work to remove and replace some sections of the pathway at Mooloolaba’s Emerald Woods Environmental Park will begin in the first week of August. Construction should take around three weeks and access to some properties may be affected for short durations during construction. Council officers will work with affected residents to minimise disruption.
Churinga Park Shelter
Have you seen the new shelter in Churinga Park at Alex Heads? Taking full advantage of the ocean views, this great new open plan shelter is in a prime location. With the newly landscaped gardens, extra seating, and additional lighting this is a great spot for a BBQ with family and friends.
It is an exciting time and there are a great many projects underway across division 4. I aim to keep you updated through these columns as well as on Facebook (Cr John Connolly - Division 4) and Twitter @voteconnolly or subscribe to my eNewsletter at www.voteconnolly.com.au/enewslettersignup. As your representative on council, I would like to hear of any projects or topics that you would like to discuss.
