Council launches Development.i
Have you ever wanted to know more about what development and building is planned around you? Perhaps you’ve seen a vacant block or a sign advertising an impact assessable development application and want to see the details but didn’t know how to find them? I encourage you to give Development.i a try – your new place to go for information on development and building applications across the Sunshine Coast. With Development.i you are empowered to be informed on what is happening in your community. And best of all, it’s as easy to use a real estate search website.
New shelters for summer barbeques
Work is underway on a number of new shelters and barbeques in Division 4 which will give the community more options for their summer gatherings. Coopers Lookout Park at Buddina will include a new shelter, barbeque and picnic setting, while the long awaited Melody Park at Warana will include a shelter, barbeque and exercise equipment! The Kawana Island Residents Association held a community barbeque recently in Double Bay Park, which was attended by about 200 people. What a great success, well done to the organising committee and I hope to see more events like this at our new facilities.
