A smoother drive on Currimundi Road

Currimundi Road is set to be rehabilitated and resurfaced as part of council’s annual Road Reseal and Rehabilitation Program. Work is underway now and is set to be completed by the end of November. These improvements are necessary maintenance that will provide a stronger road surface into the future. Please allow an extra 10-15 minutes travel time while this work is underway.

Slowing traffic in Croydon Avenue

In a bid to help slow traffic in Croydon Avenue, council is set to install traffic calming devices at the intersection of Amy Street. I’m personally delighted to see this much needed road safety project come to fruition, as it will address the community’s concern of poor driver behaviour opposite the increasingly popular ‘Grahame Stewart Park’. Work starts next week and should be completed within four weeks. It includes realignment of the intersection, including new kerb and channel, traffic islands, additional street lighting and additional line marking.

Mobile office date change

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have had to reschedule my upcoming Mobile Office session. It will now be held at Parklands Marketplace, towards the Aldi entrance, on Friday November 3 from 9-11am. I welcome you to come along to discuss any council matters or local issues.
