Coastal pathway

Work is well under way on the northern section of coastal pathway (Wurtulla), between Beach Access 249 at Poatina Park and Beach Access 247 at Wurley Drive. The coastal pathway provides a great route along our beautiful coastline to run, walk or cycle.

Road reseals

Warana residents would have noticed road improvements along Main Drive, Parari Street and Corrabin Street recently.  This is part of council’s annual Road Reseal and Rehabilitation Program, through which council maintains the 3500km local road network across the region. This work usually includes rehabilitating and resurfacing the road pavement, as well as kerb and channel repairs, and sometimes drainage improvements.

Park improvements

Council will soon improve areas of Ridgehaven Park in Aroona. We’ll construct a shelter over the table in the existing dog enclosure, and create a new small dog enclosure. Work is likely to start at the end of February or in early March. I’m sure our local dogs, and their owners, will be happy to have more space to run around off leash.
