Currimundi Lake dredging

Council is planning to renourish the beaches along Crummunda Park and Westaway Parade, by dredging sand located towards the eastern end of Currimundi Lake. It is anticipated that these works will take around four weeks (weather dependent) and will be performed by Nabis Dredging. Working hours will be from 7am to 5pm and some disruption of the beach and adjoining parkland is expected. I thank you for your patience during this time.

Mobile Office Friday October 26, 2018

Join me at my next Mobile Office at Currimundi Marketplace from 9am to 11am where I will be available to discuss any council related matters.

Parklands Boulevard Upgrade Project – Community Display and Information Session. Saturday November 3, 9-11am, Parklands Marketplace (in front of Australia Post)

Council is planning to upgrade a section of Parklands Boulevard, between the IRT retirement village and approximately 100 metres west of Meridan Way. Join me at this information session and hear directly from the project team on timing and what to expect during construction. The upgrade will improve safety for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, by helping improve traffic flow, reducing delays during peak periods and catering for future traffic volumes. Construction will occur in two stages to minimise inconvenience and take place between late 2018 and mid-2020.
