Grahame Stewart Park improvements
I am pleased to confirm playground drainage works at Grahame Stewart Park, Currimundi are about to commence. Work will include the removal of existing sand, drainage improvements and softscape works. It is anticipated to take around four weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Thompson Institute tick of approval
At last month’s Council meeting, I voted in favour of a building extension to the Sunshine Coast’s world-class hub for mental health research, teaching and clinical services. The expansion plans include a 2000m2 new building with an additional two storeys of research and clinical space.
Beach access 252 upgrade
An upgrade of Beach Access 252 at Firetail Court Wurtulla has recently begun. The rotting timber has become a safety and maintenance concern and will be replaced using longer lasting materials. We’re also installing a new bike rack so you can leave your car at home and head to the coast using pedal power.
