Park upgrade

The next phase of upgrades to Grahame Stewart Park, which focus on the junior playground, are now underway. New play elements include a sand play unit with digger, pod swing, wildlife wheelspin, playhouse and more. Thank you for your patience while this work is underway. The wait will be worth it and I think kids will be thrilled with the new additions.

Drainage work at Ridgehaven Park

Drainage work has now been completed in the small and large dog enclosures at Ridgehaven Park in Aroona. New turf has been laid and cordoned off to allow it to establish.  In addition, I'm investigating the design and cost of a covered shelter in the small enclosure.

Coastal Pathway Master Plan

Council will soon be seeking feedback on the draft Coastal Pathway Master Plan to help guide future construction, with the aim of having a world class pathway from Bells Creek in the south to Stumers Creek in the north.  Community information will be available later this month, please take this opportunity to have your say. Information will be available in various ways, including on council’s website and Facebook, so keep an eye out. For more information please contact me on 5420 8978.
