Karawatha Drive, Mountain Creek project update

The Karawatha Drive pathway project is going to be one of the biggest local infrastructure projects occurring in our local area. I personally believe this will significantly improve connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists whilst providing the highest level of safety for school children and our elderly. This new 2.0m - 2.5m wide concrete pathway will provide an important link to the Mountain Creek shops, schools and Mooloolaba TAFE. Construction commenced August 29 and completion is expected within the next six weeks, weather permitting. Traffic management measures are in place to ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists. Your patience during construction is very much appreciated. I am so proud to be in a position to advocate and deliver these great projects for the benefits of ratepayers in Division 6.
