Trash or treasure
Have you got too much stuff or are you seeking new treasures to bring home?

Good news – the massive National Garage Sale Trail event being held at Sunshine Coast Christian College, Woombye on October 25 has you covered either way!

If you’re interested in de-cluttering and earning some cash at the same time, contact John Edwards on 0414 234 464 to arrange a spot to set up at the school.

Nothing to sell? There’ll be wonderful treasures galore available at what will arguably be the biggest community garage sale event on the Coast.

You can also register to be a part of the national event and sell from your own residence. For more information about the National Garage Sale Trail visit .

Drawn Together
Last week I had the pleasure of meeting the artists behind Drawn Together – a public art and graffiti management project. Thanks to an Australian Government funding grant Council has partnered with the Old Ambulance Station and young artists to deliver this wonderful project. The exhibition is on display now at the Old Ambulance Station. For more information, visit

Mark your diaries
The Woombye Second Light Horse Regiment will help ensure the memory and history of the Light Horse lives on when they parade down Woombye’s main street from 10am, November 2, followed by a service at Memorial Park and activities at Light Horse Drill Hall / Museum.
