Palmwoods Streetscape update
As part of the remaining works for the Palmwoods Streetscape Upgrade, Main Street is receiving a new pedestrian crossing and new road surface.
To enable this work to take place safely and efficiently, a temporary road closure is required. The closure will include the section of Main Street from the Margaret Street-Main Street intersection to the new temporary roundabout near the SPAR Supermarket. The area will be temporarily closed to vehicles from 6:00am Monday 22 January to 6:00 pm Wednesday 24 January (weather permitting). Pedestrian access will remain.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank businesses and residents for your continued patience and understanding and be sure to mark your diary for the opening on 10 March, 2018.
