Cr McKay - Talking tech at Maleny Library
  • Thursday 16 October 2014

Come along and join me for morning tea and a chance to ‘test drive’ the latest technology at the launch of Maleny Library’s new TechBar on Wednesday, November 5 at 11am.

The Techbar provides an opportunity for the public to discover how to use a range of technology including iPads, Macbook, PC, Samsung Galaxy, Windows Surface and eReader devices which will be available for experimentation and play.

You can check out the differences between the devices and familiarise yourself with the different operating systems and decide which one suits you best before buying.

No bookings required. I look forward to seeing you there!

Montville footpaths

Repairs are being undertaken along Montville’s Main Street on footpaths between October and December. Work will be done to replace broken pavers, and pathway lighting will be installed at the southern end of the street opposite the Tourist Information Centre.

A zebra crossing will also be installed at the southern end between the walkway from the large rear car park, close to Poet’s Café frontage.

Witta toilets open

Visitors and residents will be relieved to hear the toilet facilities at Witta Sport and Recreation are open again to the public – the only break between Conondale and Maleny.
