  • Tuesday 30 August 2016

The Sunshine Coast Lightning – that’s the name of our first ever national sporting team, as unveiled on Wednesday!

It was great to be at USC for the announcement of our new team’s identity and seeing  the youngsters who were there kitted out in their local club colours really reinforced how great this team is going to be for grassroots sport in our region.

So we’ve got a name, we’ve got a great coach and now we wait to see who’ll be wearing our colours when the season starts in around six months – stay tuned!
