Power Memorial Park

I am pleased to announce that pathway works within Power Memorial Park, Mudjimba is underway! This project involves construction of a new connecting pathway to the existing amenities block and the demolition of the old non-compliant pathway.

These works should be complete by the end of February, weather permitting.

Cotton Tree Holiday Park BBQ shelter

Works are well underway on the new BBQ shelter at Cotton Tree Holiday Park. This includes construction of shelter, aluminium louver screening and two stainless steel BBQ’s.

This will be a much needed asset improvement to cater for tourists at this popular holiday park.

This project is expected to be complete within the next week or two which is great news given the Easter Holidays are fast approaching – can you believe it! upcoming Easter Holidays!

A $23 million commitment to our roads                   

Council maintains more than 2200km of roads across the Sunshine Coast region through its Road Reseal and Rehabilitation Program. We do this to ensure they are safe for motorists.

The 2016/17 program will improve more than 80km across 193 roads. Visit council’s website to check which roads will be improved this month and please slow down and follow traffic directions near all road works, for your safety and that of the people working on the roads.
