Cr Thompson - Anzac Day spirit
  • Friday 25 April 2014

Anzac Day, April 25, honours all Australians who have served or paid the supreme sacrifice in the service of their country.

The Kawana RSL Sub-branch will hold a Dawn Service  tomorrow (Friday April 25) at 5.28am. A march will be held at 10.45am and a general service at 11am. Both commemoration services will be held at the Sub-Branch War Memorial, south east corner of Coopers Lookout public carpark. The entrance is off Pacific Blvd, Buddina.

The south half of the carpark will be closed from 6pm tonight (Thursday, April 24) and reopens at noon tomorrow (April 25).  If laying a wreath at either service, please phone Rob Hunt on 5478 0546. Veterans and residents welcomed.

Time to play

The play equipment at La Balsa Park playground has been given a $57,500 upgrade.

The new play fort on Harbour Pde, Buddidna, will provide hours of enjoyment for our littlest resident and their friends for years to come.
