Today’s Backward Glance shines the spotlight on the Sunshine Coast’s community members who share similar goals and interests and have come together in a range of clubs and societies.

While today’s interests have widened, clubs and charities here on the Coast have remained a key area for people to gather socially, fundraise and enjoy social activities with each other and the wider community.

An example is the Junior Red Cross (pictured) fundraising and promoting the role of the Red Cross at the annual show in Nambour, July 1960.
