Illness has forced local musician Barry Charles to postpone his discussion on musical memories at Noosa Library until Wednesday 23 June at 6.30pm
The evening, titled ‘You had to be out there …’, was originally planned for 14 April.
Barry will talk about memories from his career and invite others to share their own memories.
“Working as a musician, I have shared many special times with many people and, rather than lecture about music culture, I'd like to discuss and invite discussion about musical memories and how we all share them,“ said Mr Charles.
The Sunshine Coast has a rich musical history and many locals have fond memories of dances and concerts, he said.
This event is perfect for sharing those memories, re-living good times and hearing more about the life of one of our favourite musicians.
The cost of the evening is $10 and includes wine and a light supper. Bookings are required for this much anticipated evening.
