If you’re looking for something fun and creative to do with the kids in the upcoming school holidays, check out the great range of workshops on offer at Caloundra Regional Gallery.

There will be four ArtsCool Workshops where kids can learn some great new skills from current exhibiting artist Kim Schoenberger.

With Kim’s help kids can mould their very own clay Minion, create an abstract assemblage, make leaf animals using pressed dried leaves, and take inspiration from Kim’s exhibition Papillon to create a tea bag collage.

Places are limited for these workshops so make sure you book early.

A regular favourite, Kids Art Attack, will also be held on Saturday July, 2 from 11am – 1pm.

Come along and discover an exciting new art technique. It’s free to attend and there’s no need to book so bring the family, get creative and have some fun.

Visit council’s gallery website for more details about the range of kids programs on offer throughout the year.

Owned and operated by Sunshine Coast Council, Caloundra Regional Gallery is located at 22 Omrah Avenue and is open Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm.
