Calling all weeds
  • Friday 29 August 2008

Council together with local nurseries will host the Sunshine Coast’s weedbusters week from 1 – 5 September in an effort to raise awareness about the impact weeds can have on our local environment.

Throughout weedbusters week, at locations across the region, council will be giving away three free native plants and a copy of local plant guide, ‘our locals are beauties’ in exchange for a bag of weeds from the Sunshine Coast ‘hit list’.
