Calling young Wizards and Darklords for holiday fun
  • Friday 13 March 2015

Young Harry Potter and Star Wars fans can join in a range of awesome Council library branch activities to entertain children these Easter holidays.

Activate Entertainment will be running four film-making workshops to help children create their own magical film complete with special effects, while Bricks4Kidz will be hosting LEGO workshops showing kids how to build a lunar rover.

There's the chance to create your own Minecraft stormtrooper head and lightsaber using boxes and pool noodles.

The packed program also includes a wand-making session to show you how to create your own magic book box using old library books, as well as badge making and quiz shows.

For younger children, there will be magical storytelling sessions with craft activities afterwards.

Make sure you book early to avoid disappointment. Visit council’s library website for bookings and more information.
