  • Thursday 30 October 2008

Sunshine Coast Council will join Coolum and District Coast Care group in Coolum tomorrow, to teach 60 Coolum primary school children about the environment and the importance of our dunal system.

As part of Coolum Coast Care’s dunal revegetation program, children from the local primary school will help plant over 1000 native plants and will learn about the dunes, the effect of litter on the environment and turtle life cycles.

Last week, 80 children from the school helped plant over 570 plants.
