Council not making phone 'survey' calls to residents’ homes
  • Wednesday 23 March 2011

Sunshine Coast Council has received advice that a person or persons may be ringing Coast residents claiming to be a council representative.

The callers are asking questions of residents concerning a survey on de-amalgamation issues. Residents may also be receiving these calls on weekends.

Council is not carrying out any such phone surveys and advises residents to ask for the name and contact number of the caller to verify their identity before providing any information.
