A recent upgrade to Coolum’s popular Tickle Park has improved safety and accessibility.
The Sunshine Coast Council project includes a new pathway, landscaping and lighting.
Division 9 Councillor Steve Robinson said Sunshine Coast Council had received good feedback about the upgrades.
“The new path and lighting have improved access to the park at all times of the day, which has received a lot of positive comments,” Cr Robinson said.
“The landscaping included planting and construction of a boulder retaining wall.
“This project is one of many park and recreational infrastructure projects Council is delivering as part of its 2014-2015 $111 million Capital Works Program.”
