Create! @ your library

What do Bollywood and survival skills have in common? Nothing much, except you can get a taste of both as part of the Sunshine Coast Libraries exciting new school holiday program on offer at the end of the month.

Once you are all SCRUFFFY-ed out, head down to your local library and check out the huge program of activities on offer as part of the Create! school holiday program.

Regional Director Community Services Lisbet Dean said the libraries have a great line up of creative activities on offer, with something for everyone.

“Our Library staff have come up with an extensive program with activities ranging from toddler tales, street art, library Olympics, playstation playoffs and storytelling sessions,” Ms Dean said.

The activities have been classified according to age groups, to make it even easier to find the right activity to suit.

The Create! school holiday program gets underway on Monday 30 June, with activities on offer at all branches across the coast.

Bookings are required for most activities, and a small fee applies to those activities where materials are supplied. To find out more, log on to www.library.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au or contact your local branch.
