Division 3 – three ways to keep your finger on the pulse
  • Friday 15 March 2013

Do you have any burning issues you would like to discuss face-to-face with Division 3 Councillor Peter Cox? Or maybe you’re just curious to meet the local representative who is looking after your area?

Division 3 residents have the opportunity to do just that at the ‘meet and greet’ with Cr Cox next Friday 22 March from 9am to 11am at the Lake Kawana Community Centre.

Cr Cox said he always looks forward to the monthly community catch up meetings.

“I’m out and about in Kawana every fourth Friday of the month, same time, same place, to catch up with locals about what’s happening in council and the division,” he said.

“Even if there’s no particular issue you wish to discuss, I encourage community members to please pop in and have a chat in a totally relaxed, informal environment.”

If you can’t make it to the ‘meet and greet’, interested Division 3 residents can still keep up to speed on the latest issues and developments impacting their local community by signing up to the free e-Newsletter and or ‘liking’ Cr Cox’s Facebook site.

Cr Cox said his e-Newsletter and Facebook page have been specifically tailored to keeping local residents informed.

“Whether it’s new pathways or road works; park upgrades; updates on the Kawana health precinct; or general council business, the e-Newsletter and Facebook site will keep your finger on the pulse,” he said.
