Drama workshops at Nambour Civic Centre creating stars of tomorrow

Kids of all ages are invited to register the Little Seed Theatre Company’s Term Two after-school drama workshops at Council’s Nambour Civic Centre.

Now is the perfect time to book in your child for some fun-filled after-school drama workshops run by the renowned Little Seed Theatre Company.

Created to grow stories and people, the Little Seed Theatre Company provides young people between the ages of four and 18 with a space to explore their creativity and imagination via workshops and performances in which ideas, inspiration and individuals are believed.

Term Two workshops start on April 20 and will be held every Monday from 3.30pm to 4pm until June 22. This class is for young people under the age of eight and will involve dance, singing and voice development lessons.

Little Seed also offers junior acting classes starting on April 20 from 4pm to 5.30pm. This class will be for all junior primary school kids aged eight and over and will cover all aspects of acting including theatre sports, mime, improvisation, presentation skills, poetry and confidence building.

High school aged young people can attend the senior acting and integrated performing arts class starting on Wednesday, April 22 until June 24 from 3.30 to 5.30pm. This class will cover acting including theatre sports, mime, improvisation, presentation skills, poetry and confidence building as well as dance, movement, voice development and musical theatre.

The Nambour Civic Centre is located on the upper level of the C-Square complex, 52 – 64 Currie Street, Nambour. Parking is available via Mill Street across from the Coles Supermarket.
