Council’s Nambour Civic Centre proudly presents the exhilarating stage production, Carnival of The Animals, by internationally acclaimed circus company Circa these Easter holidays.

All the fun of the carnival will tumble, leap and skip into the Civic Centre on Monday, April 13 at 6pm and Tuesday, April 14 at 11am and 1pm with whimsical tales of creatures of land and seas as they make their way through the many wondrous worlds of the animal kingdom.

Featuring thrilling acrobats and large scale digital animations, critics have raved about this show, calling the work “stunning...exquisite... heart stopping” and “electrically charged”.

Their zebras juggle and flip, the kangaroos skip and somersault, the elephants have street-cred and rhythm and even their dinosaur bones shake, clatter and roll to the music.

Carnival of The Animals will whisk the audience away on a thrilling circus escapade inspired by Camille Saint-Saens delightful salute to feathers, fur and fins.

Circa’s acrobats bring this classical music suite to life for a whole new generation of circus, music and animal lovers.

Our friends at Queensland Zoo will also venture into the Nambour Civic Centre foyer on Tuesday, April 14 with some wild and wonderful animals including a freshwater croc, snakes, lizards and maybe even an eastern quoll, making for a fantastic animal experience for the entire family.
