Spring has arrived and there’s no better time to take advantage of Council’s Park It health and wellbeing program in Noosa.

Developed by Council’s Community and Recreation Development team in Tewantin, the highly successful program is now in its third year and has added some more exciting activities to its line up.

Katie Edmiston, Council’s Community Support Officer said the aim of the program is to support local members of the community in getting active and connecting with other community members in fun, creative and healthy ways.

“It’s also about making the most out of using our beautiful parks, rivers and natural environment.”

Park It continues to provide weekly opportunities for our community to connect and participate in recreational activities including Tai Chi, Yoga & Fitness Circuit but has now added specific activities for children, families & young people including music and movement classes, skateboarding and circus.

“We’ve got some wonderful new activities designed to get people active this spring including paddle-surfing, riding, skating, or juggling,” said Katie.

The program, held across the beautiful parks and outdoor areas throughout the Noosa coast and hinterland is a whole of community program that aims to get people stretching, riding, paddling, skating, juggling and much more!
