While visiting the Nights on Ocean cultural event at Maroochydore on Friday, May 9, make sure you check out the Sunshine Coast Art Prize New Media interactive animation workshop from 5pm to 9pm.

The workshop is commissioned by Sunshine Coast Council and will include interactive animation by local animator Beau Deeley as well as interactive street art stencilling by local artist David Houghton, in partnership with Art and Soul Duporth Project and the University of the Sunshine Coast.

If you can’t make it, don’t worry as you will have another opportunity to attend an interactive animation workshop by Beau Deeley and David Houghton at the University of the Sunshine Coast Gallery on Wednesday, May 14 from 11am to 1pm.

While at the workshops enquire about entering the inaugural Sunshine Coast Art Prize 2014 New Media category, presented by Analogue Digital and the University of the Sunshine Coast with prizes valued at $15,000.
