Day of the Dead

Sunshine Coast Council is undertaking a review of the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) program and you are invited to provide feedback.

RADF is a highly successful partnership between state and local government and supports local artists, the arts and cultural activities in regional communities.

You can have your say and help council develop new guidelines for implementation on July 1, 2015.

Council is holding a community information session at Lake Kawana Community Centre, 114 Sportsmans Pde, Bokarina from 4-6pm on Monday, March 30.

Participants should register to attend and light refreshments will be provided.

Arts Queensland developed a set of guidelines that have been in place for many years and council now has an opportunity to propose its own model of RADF for the Sunshine Coast region.

While the guidelines may change as part of this review RADF’s core objectives will remain as:
• Supporting locally determined arts and cultural priorities;
• Supporting local artists and arts and cultural activity;
• Providing opportunities for local communities to participate in arts and cultural activities.

For more information about RADF, or to book into the community information session, visit council’s website or contact the RADF liaison officer for assistance – call 5475 7272 or email grants@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au.
