Have your say on busking on the Coast
  • Thursday 21 May 2009

The Sunshine Coast Regional Council supports the diversity and value that busking contributes to our culture and community, and now they want to hear what you think.

As part of developing their busking program, council is inviting feedback from the public.

Council is interested in hearing from the community about the ongoing development of the Coast’s street artist program. Current busking acts include children’s entertainers, jugglers, musicians, vocalists and dance groups.

Performers and community members can visit council’s website to have their say or pick up a feedback form from any of council’s customer service offices.

Feedback closes 29 May.

You can find further information on busking, including operational guidelines, current approved sites and application processes at www.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au or by calling council’s Markets and Busking Coordinator on (07) 5441 8385.
