Have your say on local arts
  • Thursday 23 July 2009

Sunshine Coast Regional Council is inviting residents with experience or an interest in the arts to nominate for the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) Committee to help assess grant applications.

Getting involved in the committee provides residents and artists with the opportunity to shape the direction of arts and cultural development in the region.

RADF is a partnership between council and the Queensland Government to provide funds that support artists and art workers to practise their art individually and with communities in the region.

Details of committee member roles and nomination forms can be found at council’s website under “For Residents, Grants and Funding, RADF”.

For more information on nominating for the RADF Committee visit council’s website or call 5441 8352. Nominations close at 5pm on Friday 14 August.

RADF is now accepting applications for its current funding round. Applications close 15 September 2009.

Grant information sessions, followed by clinics to assist applicants with their applications for the programs, are being held at locations around the Coast from 4 August to 8 September. Check council’s website for dates and locations.
