Fiona Kennedy Altoft’s exhibition of playful human bird figures are a fresh and lively portrait of the artist’s life and will be on display at Noosa Regional Gallery from 11 December 2013 to 19 January 2014.

Fiona’s works on canvas surprise the viewer with an intriguing hierarchy of paradox that begins with the artist’s use of imagination.

All are welcome to attend the official opening on Sunday 15 December at 11am and enjoy the following free public programs:

Special Festive Family Day

Celebrate Christmas this year with a creative twist. Free festive children’s art activities, suitable for young and old. This Family Day is sponsored by the Friends, Noosa Regional Gallery Inc. No bookings required.

ArtsCool Holiday Workshops

ArtsCool focuses on creative, innovative and fun learning experiences and is facilitated by experienced and trained creative educators. Children will also enjoy a gallery tour with each art workshop. Focused on providing a rich and valuable experience, classes are limited to 12 students.

Cost to attend is just $8 per child. Bookings and pre-payment are essential.
