Lake Kawana transforms into Lakurassic Park
  • Monday 20 January 2014

If you are looking for last minute school holiday entertainment ideas make sure you bring your dinosaur-loving youngsters to visit Lakurassic Park, located in the courtyard at Sunshine Coast Council’s Lake Kawana Community Centre, on Thursday 23 January 2014.

Kids will enjoy a fun-filled musical ride through the amazing world of prehistoric reptiles that gets the whole family singing, dancing, laughing and learning with special guest, Jurassic Joe.

The Jurassic Joe Dinosaur show is interactive, educational, relevant, accessible and of course, great for mumosaurus and daddydactyl too. Jurassic Joe has presented his show at libraries, preschools, schools, museums, Australia Zoo and Queensland Museum.

Joe Landers, AKA Jurassic Joe, is a school music teacher, proud dad, a gifted storyteller and a prolific songwriter (particularly when it comes to the subject of dinosaurs). With more than 20 years teaching experience from Kindergarten to Year 12, he has an invaluable working knowledge of the entire school curriculum and the developmental stages of children’s learning.

There will be two shows at 10am and 1pm and the cost is just $8 per person.
