Little Red in the Hood - a new twist on a children’s classic

ImageChildren will love Little Red in the Hood a live, interactive and educational theatre performance, for one show only at council’s Lake Kawana Community Centre at 11am on Friday, September 23.

Once upon a time in a tiny neighbourhood not so far away, lived a very clever girl who always kept an eye on her neighbours and reported anything suspicious to the police.

She was a big part of the Neighbourhood Watch program in her village, with a new goal to ‘Keep Australia Beautiful’.

She wore a lovely bright red cape with a hood – just like a superhero and everyone called her Little Red in the Hood.

Every story has a trouble-maker and this one has ‘Wolfy’ – the Big Bad Wolf! He’s not really big and bad…more like medium-size and cheeky, but he does leave rubbish everywhere – and that makes him a massive “litterbug”.

Wolfy just found out that Granny has an awesome chocolate cake cooking in the oven, so he’s heading over there right now to get his paws on that cake – and hopefully the recipe too!

Oh dear! Will Little Red get there first and save the day, or the cake?

Don’t miss this riveting play, presented by Jally Entertainment, that is suitable for children aged three to 11 years and their families.

The good news is there is a meet and greet after the 50-minute performance for children to meet Little Red and the Big Bad Wolf.

Tickets to the show are just $14 per person, $12 for SCvip members, $50 for a family of two adults and two children and $12 per person for groups of eight or more.
