Living simply and living smart will open your eyes to sustainability in the backyard
  • Thursday 27 June 2013

Join local author Rhonda Hetzel and learn how to live the ‘simple life’ at free Living Simply Living Smart sessions at Sunshine Coast Council library branches across the Coast during July and August 2013.

This session covers topics such as sustainability in the backyard, keeping chooks, growing fruit or vegetables and harvesting water from the roof. Rhonda will also demonstrate the importance of debt reduction and living without waste and how these two concepts can be attained by cooking from scratch, shopping mindfully, recycling and reusing. Rhonda will also share her practical thoughts about slowing down, living mindfully and finding happiness in everyday life.

Participants will develop new ways to think about their lives and learn how to identify priorities and create a plan for how they want to live.
