Look out for Encompass – in letterboxes from this weekend
  • Saturday 01 May 2010

Sunshine Coast councillors – what do they really think? Find out in the latest edition of Encompass, council’s free community magazine, due to hit letterboxes from this weekend.

The May issue sees all 12 councillors outline their pick of the top achievements so far – and what else they think needs to be done.

Also read about one of the most important planning processes council will undertake – to find out what you want the future Sunshine Coast to look like in council’s first Community Plan. This plan will become the umbrella plan that covers all other planning processes for council, and the magazine cover features the faces of the future.

Other features of the May issue include:

  • where the Coast’s busiest beaches are
  • how council is tackling climate change and rapid growth
  • planning for Maroochydore, Palmview and Caloundra South
  • how council is outfoxing turtle predators
  • two new initiatives under the Public Transport Levy
  • Encompass survey – is it hitting the mark?

Plus a whole lot more.

Look out for your edition in letterboxes from this weekend.

If you haven’t received yours by 10 May give council a call. Copies are available online or you can pick one up at council customer service centres and libraries from 10 May.
