Join Deputy Mayor Chris Thompson and the Sunshine Coast Events Board for the annual scene (Sunshine Coast Events Network) Events Expo at the Innovation Centre, University of the Sunshine Coast on Wednesday, April 22 from 4.30pm.

scene is an initiative of Sunshine Coast Council to support the region’s events industry. It aims to strengthen the quality and enrich the diversity of the local events landscape by building the knowledge, capacity and networks of event organisers.

The Expo will showcase everything the Sunshine Coast events sector has to offer and is a must for anyone working in events or looking to hold an event. Details of an exciting 2015 program of workshops and events will be announced and organisers will also unveil scene’s brand new look and feel.

The Expo is free to attend and will showcase local performers, venues and suppliers. It includes canapés, a cash bar and lucky door prizes and is a great networking opportunity for those working in or with an interest in events.

Bookings are essential, so RSVP now to attend to go into the draw to win two day pass tickets to Caloundra Music Festival. You must be there on the night to win and the prize will be drawn at 6.15pm.

scene is supported by Business Events Sunshine Coast, the University of the Sunshine Coast and TAFE Queensland East Coast.
