On Sunday 11 November locals are invited to catch up with Sunshine Coast Mayor Mark Jamieson and Divisional Councillors at the Kenilworth Town Park.

Mayor Mark Jamieson said Kenilworth is one of the region’s iconic towns and the hospitality from locals is second to none.

“I’ve made many trips to Kenilworth in the first six months of this council and have always enjoyed a chat with locals,” the Mayor said.

Division 10 Councillor Greg Rogerson said it will be a relaxed afternoon in the park and everyone is invited.

“I’m delighted that the town of Kenilworth is hosting this unique opportunity for people to participate in open conversation with the Mayor and Divisional Councillors,” Cr Rogerson said.

“We’ll be sharing a cuppa and scones and talking about whatever is on the minds of people who come to the park to have a chat.”

Division 5 Councillor Jenny McKay said spending a Sunday afternoon in Kenilworth meeting with community members is a great way to spend the day.

“I really hope Sunshine Coast residents from across the region consider coming up to Kenilworth for the day as it is a lovely hinterland town with a number of attractions for families and visitors,” Cr McKay said.

“There’s the added bonus of meeting with the Mayor and other Divisional Councillors in a relaxed park setting – it’s an opportunity too good to miss out on.”

All locals and visitors are welcome to join the Mayor and Divisional Councillors for a casual afternoon catch-up at Kenilworth Town Park on Sunday 11 November from 3.30pm to 5pm.
