ImageTerry Schroder, the Flying Ace, will land at Maroochydore Library on Thursday, June 9 from 5.30pm thanks to the Friends of Maroochydore Library and council.

Terry, who is making a return visit, has been one of Sunshine Coast Libraries’ most interesting and entertaining speakers.

This time Terry will talk about his experience and adventures when flying for the Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS) in Queensland.

The RFDS is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world, providing extensive primary health care and 24-hour emergency service to people across an area of 7.3 million square kilometers.

Delivered by a dedicated team of professionals, using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, and supported by a vast number of volunteers and supporters, the RFDS is vital for those who live, work and travel in rural and remote Australia.

Cost to attend is just $7 per person and includes light refreshments. Bookings are essential and can be made by visiting council’s library website or calling 5475 8989.
