Moonwalk not exclusive to Michael Jackson

Sunshine Coast Council and Heart Foundation Walking are holding "moonlight walks" at Cotton Tree, Lake Kawana and Cooroy this month.

Locals and visitors are invited to take part in these free Sunshine Coast Heart Foundation Moonwalks.

Cotton Tree Moonwalk

Dress for comfort, bring a torch and a water bottle for the 45 to 60 minute medium-pace Moonwalk. Please arrive five minutes early so the group can leave on time.

Sunshine Coast Council together with the Heart Foundation are pleased to provide all residents and visitors with the Heart Foundation Walking program.

Heart Foundation Walking is an initiative funded by the Queensland Government and aimed at getting more Queenslanders active.

There are more than 70 walks which occur across the Coast including monthly Moonwalks and pram walks.

Walks do not occur in the event of persistent rain or storms.
