Avid readers will have better access to Sunshine Coast Libraries’ mobile service when its new timetable hits the road in February.
Until now, the Sunshine Coast Council ran three different timetables for the north, central and southern parts of the Coast.
After a review of this service, council decided to streamline the mobile library by creating a location-based timetable that will make it easier to track where a mobile library is at any time right across the Sunshine Coast.
The new timetable also offers more locations and more choice for mobile library customers.
Presented as a colourful new brochure, the timetable brings together details of all mobile library locations in alphabetical order, with the dates of visits clearly marked.
Customers are able to use any of council’s mobile libraries, as well as all nine branches of Sunshine Coast Libraries, free of charge.
The new timetable, which starts on 2 February, is available now at all Sunshine Coast Libraries, Mobile Libraries and Council Customer Service centres.
